SPIDER TO THE FLY - PRIVACY POLICY
(c) Cyber Fitness - Discipline Rewired (CFDR).
Effective date: 4 October 2026
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Spider to the Fly ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), published by CFDR (Cyber Fitness – Discipline Rewired), handles information. The App is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
We have designed the App to collect as little information as possible. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.
Who this App is for
Spider to the Fly is a family-friendly arcade game that is suitable for, and marketed to, children. Because of this, we treat all users as if they may be children and apply the stricter protections described below (see "Children's Privacy").
Information we collect
Information you give us directly: None that identifies you. The App lets you type a player name for the leaderboard. This name is stored only on your own device and is never sent to us. You can enter any name you like; please do not enter your real full name or any personal details.
Information stored on your device: The App saves your game data locally on your device using your device's standard storage. This includes your high scores, leaderboard entries, chosen difficulty, badges earned, game statistics, highest level reached, and whether you have purchased the ad-free upgrade. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its data.
Information we do not collect: We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, photos, or contacts. We, the developer, do not receive any personal information from you.
Advertising
The App shows advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. Advertising helps us keep the App free. You can remove all advertising by purchasing the one-time "Remove Ads" in-app upgrade.
Because the App is directed to children, we have configured AdMob to:
treat all ad requests as child-directed;
serve non-personalised ads only (ads are not based on a user's interests or behaviour); and
restrict ad content to a "G" (general audiences) maximum content rating.
To serve ads, Google AdMob may process limited technical information such as a device's advertising identifier, general (coarse) location derived from an IP address, and device type. For child-directed requests, Google states that it does not use this information to build advertising profiles or to show personalised ads. For more information about how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
In-app purchases
The App offers a one-time purchase to remove advertisements. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). We never see or store your payment card details. Payment information is handled entirely by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies. The App only records, on your own device, whether the upgrade has been purchased.
Links and sharing
The App includes buttons to rate the App in the store and to share a message about the App. If you use the share feature, your device's own sharing tools open, and you choose where to send the message. If you use the rate feature, your device opens the relevant app store. These actions are controlled by your device and the relevant store, not by us.
Children's Privacy
We take children's privacy seriously and aim to comply with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) including provisions relating to children, and the Google Play Families Policy.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children (or anyone else).
Advertising is configured as child-directed and non-personalised, with a maximum "G" content rating.
We do not enable interest-based advertising, remarketing, or behavioural profiling of users.
We do not require registration, sign-in, or any personal details to play.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us (details below) so we can address it. Because the App does not collect personal information, there is normally nothing for us to delete; uninstalling the App removes all locally stored game data.
Data retention and deletion
All game data is stored locally on your device. We do not keep a copy. To delete it, uninstall the App or clear the App's data through your device settings.
Security
Because we do not collect or store your personal information on our own servers, the main protection for your local game data is your own device's security. Third-party services (Google AdMob, Google Play, Apple) are responsible for the security of the limited data they process, as described in their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at the same web address. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
